The Winter Lake House

Lanterns of sunset rays like pockets of hugs

The scent of mist and pine woods

Dragonflies around my crown like sparkle

orangey as the sky, like an ocean

Butterflies through meadows

With golden goose and mallard ducks

Sounds of chimney bells and bonfire

The warmth of winter, I rolled into

The bright day of the Alaska mountains I see,

Flocks of birds with chirping sounds

The brews of coffee ground bean fragrance

alluring the day with funny jelly shoots

Irised winter and droplets of the mist of northern breeze

Visits of swans on my evening lake

Waving hands of wings they say

the lake house is where I sing my fancy wonders
